He succeeds the previous Managing Director Dr. Holger Koch, who is leaving the hospital group at his own request.<\/p>\n\n<p>In the Upper Bavarian district of Neuburg-Schrobenhausen, Markus Poppler takes over as Managing Director of the district&#8217;s own healthcare facilities, which include the Schrobenhausen District Hospital and the Neuburg Geriatric Center as a geriatric rehabilitation facility. The 40-year-old, who has a degree in business administration as well as a master&#8217;s degree in business administration with a focus on business law, also brings the valuable experience of his training as a registered nurse to day-to-day operations.<\/p>\n\n<p>Markus Poppler has been working in the healthcare sector for over 20 years. In recent years, he has been active as Managing Director of the Espachstift, a retirement and nursing home in Kaufbeuren. Prior to this, he was head of the clinic at the Ritzensee Private Clinic in Zell am See. From March 2024, the Eichst\u00e4tt native will assume responsibility for the municipal clinics in Neuburg-Schrobenhausen with their 850 employees.<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Jan Hacker, CEO of Oberender AG, sees him as the ideal successor: &#8220;We are delighted to have found a capable and experienced managing director for our management mandate in Markus Poppler. We are certain that he will continue to<br\/>successfully develop the facilities.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;The success of a company does not depend on one individual.
